My name is Dee, I’m from the south and I come fully loaded with designer cowgirl boots, the accent and a “honey” “chile” here and there. I’ve always wanted to start a blog, but after a while I was like “Girl, you should’ve started that in high school.” I now know that was negative self talk, imposter syndrome and the wrong mindset….. the more you know.

As I start a new chapter in my life I want to take you with me. Being vulnerable is new for me, however, my ability to inspire others to become their best selves and to live an intentional life is their own right is definitely not.

The Chic Nomad is all about moving through life as the main character in every chapter and in a stylish, unapologetic way.

Girl, I just started yesterday (HA!) so that would be a no, but I would love to though (You hear that universe? Tap in when you’re ready!). There are some fashion and lifestyle bloggers that I really enjoy and admire. I know how hard they work.

WHAT DO YOU DO?

I am a sustainable stylist. I inspire others to invest in staple pieces, explore new designers and wear what you own (or get rid of it). I create fun and unique shopping experiences that support local fashion brands and build sustainable communities through C.H.I.C. Shopping Tours.

WHAT DID YOU DO BEFORE?

I have a background in retail visual design and merchandising strategies. I’ve worked for retail companies such as XXI, Urban Outfitters and Macy’s. Some brands that I have worked for are Levi’s, Adidas, Calvin Klein, Taryn Rose & Clinique just to name a few.
